Best White GPU in 2021

The aesthetics of a gaming rig stun everyone, and no doubt, we have seen an increase in the number of good-looking products in the past few years. Usually, people go with a black-colored casing with RGB lighting combined with RGB fans, but some people feel the white-colored products are far more beautiful since the RGB lighting greatly reflects from a white surface. Some companies focused on white-themed products more than others, such as NZXT, and we saw gaming casings like NZXT H510 and H710. The same is the case with the motherboards, and many companies provided white-themed motherboards, including ASUS, MSI, NZXT, etc.

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC
Brand:Gigabyte

Base Clock:1410 MHz
Boost Clock:1725 MHz
Power Consumption:215W
Power Supply:550W

GIGABYTE is one of the mainstream vendors in the market, and we have been seeing some of the most beautiful graphics cards from the company in the last few years. The most popular series by the company is the AORUS series, which is the flagship series, although there are many other series by the company. One such series is GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 GAMING OC WHITE, a new series with a white-colored theme. The design of the graphics card is delightful, and it comes with a white-colored fan shroud and harbors a tri-fan design. The fans are still black in color, which results in a fine contrast in the graphics card.

There is no visible RGB lighting at the front, while GIGABYTE is written at the top of the graphics card and is RGB-lit. The graphics card does come with a back-plate that is light gray in color and looks pretty awesome. GIGABYTE is written on the GIGABYTE, but this logo is not RGB-lit like the top of the graphics card. WHEN IT WAS RELEASED, GeForce RTX 2070 was quite a powerful graphics card, and it was the third-most powerful graphics card from the RTX 2000 series. The graphics card comes with 2304 CUDA cores and offers 36 RT and 288 Tensor cores as well. The GPU has 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and with an effective memory clock rate of 14 Gbps, the overall memory bandwidth sums up to 448 GB/s.

GIGABYTE RTX 2070 GAMING OC WHITE has a base core clock of 1410 MHz, while the boost clock rate of the graphics card is 1725 MHz. The real-time clock rates are surely higher than these rated clocks due to GPU Boost technology, and the GPU mostly hovers around 1900 MHz. The cooling solution of the graphics card holds great potential and can keep the graphics card around 70 degrees at full load.

Pros

  • Well-balanced price and performance
  • Capable cooling solution
  • Elegant back-plate and fan shroud

Cons

  • It feels flimsy at the touch

ASUS DUAL GTX 1060

Budget Pick
ASUS DUAL GTX 1060
ASUS DUAL GTX 1060
Brand:ASUS
VRAM:3 GB
Base Clock:1506 MHz
Boost Clock:1809 MHz
Power Consumption:120W
Power Supply:500W

ASUS is our favorite when it comes to graphics card vendors, and you will find the best of all things in its graphics card variant. You get powerful performance, lots of exclusive features, aesthetically impressive design, and acoustically impressive cooling solutions in the graphics cards by this company. ASUS DUAL GTX 1060 is one of the cheapest white-themed graphics cards that you can buy right now, although its performance is a lot lower than most of the current-generation graphics cards. The design of the graphics card is pretty simple. It is a dual-fan graphics card that comes with a large white-colored fan shroud. Since it is a mid-range graphics card variant, it does not come with a back-plate. Also, there is no RGB lighting on the graphics card.

Technically, GeForce GTX 1060 is now considered a pretty old graphics card. Surely it can play all the latest AAA games at stable FPS on 1080P resolution, but you might have to reduce the graphical settings down quite a bit in certain games like Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077.  The graphics card comes with 1280 CUDA cores, and since it is a pre-RTX-series graphics card, it does not come with any Tensor or RT cores. ASUS DUAL GTX 1060 has a base clock of 1506 MHz and a boost clock of 1709 MHz. The graphics card has a VRAM of 6 GB, but it does not use the GDDR6 technology since it is an old graphics card.

The GDDR5 technology was slower, and that is why this graphics card has a low memory bandwidth of 192 GB/s, which is considerably lower than the bandwidth of the latest graphics cards. The cooling solution of the graphics card is nothing special, but since the GPU has a low power draw of 120 watts, it seems more than enough to cool the graphics card, and you will see temperatures around 65 degrees under full load.

Pros

  • Very cheap
  • Able to play all AAA games at 1080P resolution

Cons

  • No RTX features
  • Not future proof

Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP

Best All White GPU

Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP
Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP
Brand:Palit
VRAM:8 GB
Base Clock:1605 MHz
Boost Clock:1770 MHz
Power Consumption:250W
Power Supply:650W

The Palit RTX 2080 Super WGRP is a fantastic-looking graphics card that you can readily buy from the market, and the design of the graphics card is surely attractive. It is a dual-fan graphics card that uses a white-colored fan shroud and has RGB lighting at the center of the shroud. The back-plate of the graphics card is also white-colored, and there is written: “Game Rock” there, which is RGB-lit and can be controlled through the software application. The technical specifications of the RTX 2080 Super are more than enough for most gamers, and you would easily be able to run the latest AAA titles for another couple of years at 1440P resolution in combination with high settings.

The best thing about this graphics card is that it comes with dedicated RT cores and Tensor cores responsible for real-time Ray Tracing and machine learning, respectively. The graphics card provides 3072 CUDA cores and has a real-time clock around 1900-2000 MHz. This particular variant has a base clock of 1650 MHz and a boost clock of 1860 MHz. The memory of the graphics card is quite impressive as well. It has a VRAM of 8 GB, and NVIDIA has used GDDR6  in the RTX 2000-series graphics cards, which is much faster than the previous GDDR5 and GDDR5X memory. The graphics card uses a 256-bit memory bus width, and with an effective memory clock of 15.5 Gbps, the overall memory bandwidth is 496 GB/s.

The power consumption of the graphics card is around 250 watts, and this particular model uses 2 x 8-pin PCI-E power connectors to power it. For this reason, it is recommended to use at least 650 watts power supply with 80+ Gold rating or 750 watts power supply with 80+ bronze rating. It provides 3 x DP ports and 1 x HDMI port for display, the standard configuration for most of today’s graphics cards. The graphics card uses a thick heat-sink, and in combination with two large fans, the thermals stay under control, and you are less likely to hit 80 degrees with this high-end graphics card. The graphics card has a length of 11.5 inches, which is a bit unexpected from a dual-fan card, but we have seen the likes of this before with ZOTAC Amp edition variants.

Pros

  • It can be used for 4K gaming as well.

Cons

  • It uses a large heat-sink for cooling
  • Requires a lot of power

GIGABYTE RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC White

Staff Pick
GIGABYTE RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC White
GIGABYTE RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC White
Brand:Gigabyte
VRAM:8 GB
Base Clock:1470 MHz
Boost Clock:1815 MHz
Power Consumption:175W
Power Supply:550W

The GIGABYTE RTX 2060 Super Gaming OC White is a high-end variant with a tri-fan design and looks mind-blowing. The design of this graphics card is similar to the mainstream GIGABYTE tri-fan variant that we have seen for the past two generations. The main difference lies in color, and the fan shroud of the graphics card is white-colored here, and the fans are not in white color, unlike the previously discussed GALAX RTX 2070 Super Ex-White. Moreover, this graphics card does not provide RGB lighting on the fans, although there is RGB lighting at the top of the graphics card. GeForce RTX 2060 Super comes with 2176 CUDA cores, making it around 40 percent slower than the RTX 2080 Super and around 20 percent slower than the RTX 2070 Super.

There are 272 Tensor cores in the graphics card and 34 RT cores. As for the Texture Mapping Units and Render Output Units, this graphics card comes with 136 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The memory performance of the graphics card is awe-inspiring for a mid-range graphics card. It uses the same bus width as that of the RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080 Super, and with an effective memory clock of 14 Gbps, the overall memory bandwidth becomes the same as that of the RTX 2070 Super or RTX 2080, which is mind-blowing. The graphics card has a power consumption of around 175 watts, and it uses a single 8-pin PCI-E connector for additional power

Due to the high memory performance of the graphics card, the capabilities of this graphics card are phenomenal. You will be able to play most of the games at 1440P resolution with around 60 FPS on high settings, and with lower resolutions and settings, you can easily cross the 100 FPS marks with the latest AAA titles. Since this is a tri-fan variant, its thermal capabilities are quite impressive, and it stays under the 65-degree mark most of the time under load. The heat-sink used by the company is pretty hefty, and it has greatly increased the weight and the length of the graphics card compared to the reference variant.

Pros

  • Keeps a balance between performance and price
  • It uses a powerful yet quiet cooling solution

Cons

  • Not so future proof with a 1440P screen

MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC

Best Pick
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC
MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS OC
Brand:MSI
VRAM:6 GB
Base Clock:1770 MHz
Boost Clock:1830 MHz
Power Consumption:120W
Power Supply:450W

The GeForce GTX 1660 Ti is low to the mid-range graphics card that can barely provide 60 FPS in the latest AAA games with medium to high settings on 1080P resolution. The graphics card comes with 1536 CUDA cores combined with 96 Texture Mapping Units and 48 Render Output Units. Unlike the RTX-series graphics cards, this graphics card does not come with any Tensor or RT cores, which is why you won’t be able to play games with real-time Ray-Tracing or DLSS with decent performance. The base clock of the graphics card is 1500 MHz, while the boost clock of the graphics card is 1830 MHz. The memory of this graphics card is similar to GeForce GTX 1060 since it comes with 6 GB of VRAM.

The memory performance is faster since this graphics card uses GDDR6 memory, unlike the GTX 1060, which uses GDDR5 memory. The graphics card uses a 192-bit memory bus width with an effective memory clock rate of 12 Gbps, which leads to a total memory bandwidth of 288 GB/s. The TDP of the graphics card is 120 watts, which is why it does not require a powerful power supply. It uses a single 8-pin PCI-E power connector, found in most modern mid-range power supplies. As for the I/O, the graphics card provides 1 x HDMI port and 3 x DP ports.

MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Ti VENTUS XS OC is one of the cheapest graphics cards that provide stable frame rates for most AAA games, and it should be able to play most of the upcoming AAA games at 1080P resolution and medium to high settings. Surely, you don’t find the bells and whistles that come with the likes of ASUS ROG STRIX or GIGABYTE AORUS series graphics cards. Still, since this graphics card is not very expensive, it is not a wise idea to spend an extra fifty or sixty bucks on a higher-end variant.

Pros

  • Simple design holds attraction
  • Comes factory overclocked

Cons

  • Not the best performing graphics card for 2021

GIGABYTE RTX 3070 VISION OC

GIGABYTE RTX 3070 VISION OC
GIGABYTE RTX 3070 VISION OC
Brand:Gigabyte
VRAM:8 GB
Base Clock:1815 MHz
Boost Clock:1725 MHz
Power Consumption:270W
Power Supply:650W

The design of GIGABYTE RTX 3070 VISION OC is absolutely gorgeous. By looking at it, you can feel the premium theme and how unique the overall design of the fan shroud is. The color theme of the fan shroud is appreciable as well, and it is far better than the color themes that we used to see from GIGABYTE. The color of this graphics card is not exactly white but a blend of white, silver, and gray. Technically, the performance of this graphics card is far better than the previously discussed graphics cards but getting an NVIDIA RTX 3000-series graphics card is pretty difficult right now due to all the mining craze going on. The beauty of this graphics card did not allow us not to mention it on the list; else, you will probably not be able to buy this any time soon.

The graphics card comes with 5888 CUDA cores and has a base clock of 1500 MHz. The boost clock of the graphics card is 1815 MHz, which is similar to the graphics cards from the previous generation. The graphics card comes with 184 Texture Mapping Units, and 96 Render Output Units, while there are 184 Tensor cores and 46 RT cores. The graphics card’s memory is the same as that of the RTX 2000-series graphics cards to the point that the previously mentioned RTX 2060 Super has the same memory, providing memory bandwidth of 448 GB/s a GDDR6 VRAM of 8 GB. This means that NVIDIA has only changed the core architecture with the RTX 3070 graphics card and has not changed the memory.

The cooling capabilities of this graphics card are better than most of the other variants except flagship variants, as it comes with a beefy heat-sink and a tri-fan design. The graphic card stays at around 70 degrees on load and holds substantial overclocking potential as well. However, the RTX 3000-series is not the best when it comes to overclocking, and you will barely be able to pull around 100-150 MHz additionally. The performance of this graphics card is roughly equivalent to the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which makes it even better than the RTX 2080 SUPER, and that is why it is priced higher than it these days. You will be able to play all the games at 4K resolution with ultra or high settings providing around 60 to 80 FPS.

Pros

  • Provides sophisticated looks
  • Stock clocks are faster than the official specifications

Cons

  • Not so good for RGB lovers
